The name of the support band of the 23th of december, 1979 show was the Belgian band 'Red Zebra'. I knew they supported The Cure in the early days (it's been written in the booklet of their compilation album), so I send them an e-mail and got a reply today. They also told me an anecdote about that show. The organizer of 'Zaal Cercle' (as they say it in the email) told Red Zebra they could use The Cure's equipment. The guys from Red Zebra thought it were The Cure's amplifiers, but actually they could only use The Cure's PA. But The Cure were so nice to them Red Zebra could use both... :-)
