The Cure played at the Australian National University (ANU) on the evening of Thursday, 11th October 1984. I know they were due to do 2 nights in Sydney but (I think) Union rules meant that the trucks could not be moved from Melbourne to Sydney and the Sydney venue set up in time so they stopped half way in Canberra and did a gig there.
The Set List was (sorry for abbreviations): Shake, Piggy, Primary, Wailing, Play, Charlotte, Caterpillar, Hanging, Walk, One Hundred, Give, Forest, Happy, Boys, 10.15 and Killing. I was lucky enough to be invited back to the hotel for a drink with the band afterwards.
The ANU had two venues. The smaller Bar and the larger Refectory (where they played). Sorry but don't recall the supporting act.

I went to the concert but don't have any idea what songs they played. I worked at ANU (Australian National University) where that concert was.
All I know is that initially it was only the Sydney concert (my girlfriend and I got tickets) then they announced the Canberra Show.
