I was 20 in 1984 and Numbers, the venue for The Cure show in 1984 Houston was my local goth / dance club that I attended every Friday & Saturday night without fail. I was fucking the guy who owned the club so I had elevated access to the band and I remember it like it was yesterday. Firstly, there was no opening band or support of any kind. The club was too small to allow one band to set up, play, tear down, & another band set up at the same time.

[no support]
