Believe it or not.........but The Cure played "The Drowning Man" this evening in Rotterdam (5-11 '87) on special request of me and my friend Gerber. We saw Robert Smith signing autographs before entering the venue, and in an impulse we decided to offer him a bag of our homegrown weed. Robert smiled, slipped the gift in a small pocket of his leather jacket and asked us the unthinkable: "is there any particular song you like us to play for you tonight?".
