as far as i remember the Cure concert in Roskilde on 1. May 1989 was an extra concert before the actual tour that year, as they wasn't able to come to the "real" Roskilde Festival (sometime end June or so). It was played at the Roskilde Festivalplads (not Copenhagen).
There was a warm-up band, can't remember the name at the moment.

I can confirm that the concert was an extra concert, as The Cure wasn't able to play the Roskilde Festival (major bands: Pixies and D-A-D) in the end of June. The concert was held in the biggest tent/hall on the festival grounds, the green tent. Three support bands played that day, the first one began in the early afternoon. The last of the three support bands was New Model Army, who played a good gig.

Extra info. Dinosaur Jr played there aswell, they did a cover of Just like heaven.
When New Model Army finished. The hardcore NMA fans left the area!! They just had come for New Model Army. The had loads of flags with them, so you could see when they were marching off
