This concert was to take place on 1989-05-17. On the same day, the UEFA Cup final took place in the football stadium right next to the hall. To avoid traffic chaos, the Cure concert was postponed by one day.

This show definitely was on 18.5.1989!
A few days prior to the show the band/management was asked to move the show to the next day. They were afraid of a traffic chaos because the UEFA Cup Final between VfB Stuttgart and SSC Napoli took place next to the concert venue.
The Cure agreed if they got tickets for the Cup final, of course they got. The TV broadcast of the football match sometimes showed The Cure on the VIP stand which looked pretty funny ;-)
