I don’t have a diary entry for this date, just the backstage pass. This was a tough time for me. I was getting over a break up and I remember the song 'From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea' would completely destroy me: thank you Robert.
The Cure played two shows at Rod Laver Arena (here in Melbourne) on 'The Wish' tour and we had backstage passes and free tickets for both nights. I think it was after this gig that we went out with Robert to the old Sarah Sands Hotel in Brunswick and danced together to Ride—one of my all-time favourite memories—ever!
