While 'The Walk' was doing its business, Robert was also recording with The Banshees, appearing on Riverside with The Glove playing 'Punish Me With Kisses' and twice undergoing the ritual of Top Of The Pops.
For their first appearance, Andy Anderson drummed and Porl, who'd been around the studio, mimed bass in shades but he couldn't make the second show so, as Lol had bumped into Phil Thornalley again while The Cure were making 'The Walk' video, he was asked to stand in.
