Meanwhile The Cure appeared on a round of European TV shows and, on April 24, performed 'Why Can't I Be You?' and 'Catch' on the last ever edition of 'The Tube' (a special elongated version of the programme the following Sunday also featured the band playing 'Hot Hot Hot').

Yes I was still a member of the Psychedelic Furs had to finish a tour with them before joining The Cure. Also attended the premiere of Cure in Orange this trip, due to jetlag fell asleep during the screening! Had only learnt 2 songs for the Tube learnt HHH in the dressing room.
