I worked at Upjohn Ltd and Robert Smith father was the MD. I was in the canteen when they played and I'm sure they did a version of White Christmas, I also saw them playing at the Crawley bandstand which was free.
I think it was 77 as it was my first job after my apprenticeship. Although I was also still working there in 78, I'm sure I did not see them that year.
